  2. App Store and Privacy Compliance

  ⚠️ IMPORTANT: We do not track users for advertising purposes and do not use App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.

  - No Advertising Tracking: This app does not collect, use, or share data for advertising or marketing purposes by third parties.
  - No Cross-App Tracking: We do not track users across other apps or websites for advertising.
  - No IDFA Collection: We do not access or collect Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) or other advertising identifiers.
  - Apple Guidelines Compliance: This app fully complies with Apple's App Store Review Guidelines regarding user privacy and tracking.

  Note: As of Setember 2025, we have removed Facebook login to ensure complete privacy compliance and eliminate any tracking concerns.

  Partner Winery Tasting Rooms

  When you taste and rate wines at a partner winery's tasting room:
  - We may share your tasting notes, ratings, and wine preferences with that specific winery
  - This sharing occurs only for wines you have tasted from that particular winery
  - The purpose is to help wineries understand customer preferences and improve their offerings
  - Partner wineries may use this information to follow up with you regarding:
    - Information about wines you enjoyed
    - News about new releases or vineyard updates
    - Promotional offers and exclusive events
    - Wine club invitations and special tastings
  - Your control over communications:
    - You will be notified before any such sharing occurs
    - You can opt out of this sharing while still using all other app features
    - You can unsubscribe from winery communications at any time
    - Each winery handles their own communication preferences independently
  - Data shared is limited to: wine ratings, tasting notes, flavor preferences, contact information (email, phone if provided), and general demographic
  information (age range, location)
  - We do NOT share: full purchase history, data about other wineries' wines, or sensitive personal information beyond what's necessary for wine
  recommendations

  Important: When you opt into sharing with a partner winery, you are also consenting to receive direct communications from that winery. Each winery has
  their own privacy policy and communication preferences that you can manage directly with them.

  Service Providers

  We may share data with trusted service providers who help us operate our Service:
  - AWS (Amazon Web Services): For secure cloud hosting and authentication
  - MongoDB Atlas: For secure database services
  - Apple/Google: For authentication services when you use Sign in with Apple/Google

  All service providers are bound by strict data protection agreements.
